Meera arrives at the village and moves into Bhagavathar's house with Retd. Captain Mukundan Menon, who she says is her grandfather. She claims to be the daughter of Karthu, Bhagavathar's former lover, returning to meet her father. The village begins to reckon with her presence and the mystery around her.

Meera tells Bhagavathar that Karthu is her father, prompting Gurukkal to consult with his sons and elders. He weighs family honor and protection of Meera against potential trouble. Ultimately, he decides to accept Meera as Bhagavathar's daughter.

A man arrives in the village declaring himself Bhagavathar's son, testing the veracity of Meera's tale. Bhagavathar's sons beat him and he confesses that he is a drama actor seeking money. The incident exposes the dangers of imposture in the village.

Unni, Gurukkal's son, falls in love with Meera and the families start discussing a marriage to seal their alliance. Bhagavathar and Gurukkal see the union as a way to unite the clans and protect Meera. The wedding plans begin to take shape.

Keshu Varma enters the village and asserts that Meera is Lekha Varma, his daughter. He warns that he will return in a week to take her away, escalating the stakes for the Thamprakkal. The threat casts a shadow over the forthcoming arrangements.

Meera reveals that she is Varma's daughter and had escaped from a mental hospital with Roy Varghese. Roy and Varghese had masqueraded as her grandfather Mukundan Menon to help her survive. The revelation shifts the danger squarely onto Varma and his motives.

With the danger behind them, Meera marries Unni in a ceremony that unites the two clans. The families acknowledge the protective bond of the Thamprakkal and celebrate the couple's happiness. Peace returns to Alanchery.
