Sapthagiri LLB

After losing a case in Chittoor, Sapthagiri relocates to Hyderabad and eyes the Rohit Dewan affair as his chance for a breakthrough. He watches prominent criminal lawyer Tejender Rajpal defend Dewan successfully in a sessions court, which fires his ambition. He hopes handling the PIL will bring money and fame.

With ambition in mind, Sapthagiri files a public interest litigation against Rohit Dewan. The bench reprimands him for mistakes and demands better evidence before the next hearing. The judge warns that he must collect solid material.

Sapthagiri meets Albert Pinto, who claims to have witnessed the accident. It soon becomes clear Pinto is Rajpal's planted witness, hoping to extract more money from the Dewan family. Pinto betrays the deal and turns hostile in court, complicating Sapthagiri's case.

Feeling cheated, Sapthagiri returns the illicit money to Rajpal and publicly challenges him to win the case on merit. He refocuses on gathering real evidence with his brother-in-law's help. The move marks a turning point toward honesty rather than greed.

Sapthagiri, with support from his brother-in-law, collects video footage of the car involved in the crash. He presents the footage in court to challenge Rajpal's claims about the driver. Rajpal counters by alleging the footage is fake.

Sapthagiri cross-examines the Dewan family driver, who ultimately admits he registered a false statement. The admission weakens Rajpal's defense and strengthens Sapthagiri's case. The judge begins to see the truth behind competing narratives.

Following clashes with Rajpal's assistants, the judge orders the police to provide a bodyguard, Baby, to Sapthagiri. This protects him from intimidation and ensures he can continue presenting evidence. The presence of protection marks the seriousness of the case.

Sub-Inspector Patnaik tries to sabotage Sapthagiri's progress by undermining the investigation. Sapthagiri, undeterred, continues toward the survivor Hanuman Das in Tamsi. The conflict intensifies between the prosecution and corrupt elements.

Sapthagiri reaches Hanuman Das and learns more about the accident. He later brings Rao into the courtroom to testify, who also identifies Rahul Dewan as the driver. Rajpal attempts to derail this testimony, but the court holds firm.

Das states that the Sub-Inspector threatened him after the accident and fabricated the investigation. He reveals that the SI allowed the survivor to go only after accepting money and jewelry. This testimony deepens scrutiny of police conduct.

In emotional closing arguments, Rajpal and Sapthagiri lay out their versions of events as the judge weighs the evidence. The atmosphere tightens as the true sequence of events involving the driver and witnesses becomes clearer. The judge readies for a decisive ruling.

The judge suspends the Sub-Inspector and orders a criminal inquiry into his conduct. Rohit Dewan is found guilty of the crime and sentenced to life imprisonment under sections 302 and 303A. Sapthagiri exits to praise while Rajpal bears defeat for the first time.

As the case closes, Sapthagiri basks in praise and realizes the importance of truth over greed. Rajpal's confidence is dented, marking a turning point in his career. The film ends with a sense of justice served and accountability in sight.
