Trouble

Conny Rundqvist Filip Berg, an electronics salesman and handyman, is at a client’s home to set up a television when a home invasion unfolds around him. He remains largely unaware of the danger because he is wearing noise-cancelling headphones, and only realizes something is wrong after he takes them off and notices the homeowner has been attacked. The intruder strikes Conny from behind, rendering him unconscious. When he comes to, the wife, Mimmi Sissela Benn, returns home and naturally assumes the worst, believing that Conny may have killed her husband.

Helena Eva Melander, a police officer, interrogates Conny, while her colleague Diana Amy Deasismont watches from a nearby vantage. Conny is paired with a seemingly ineffective lawyer, Hasse Måns Nathanaelson, and the case spirals toward a prison sentence. Behind bars, Conny tries to keep his innocence alive by plotting a daring escape to face Mimmi and restore his name, only to return to the prison before anyone notices his absence. Helena later asks Mimmi whether she found her husband’s cell phone; Mimmi discovers that the phone holds evidence suggesting Helena’s corruption, revealed through a photo gallery linked to her husband’s Bluetooth connection to the TV. She chooses to lie to Helena and sends her away, then uses the prison phone to arrange a public meeting with Conny.

Conny, along with Musse Joakim Sällquist and Norinder Dejan Cukic, escapes from custody and heads toward the airport, hoping to reach a private jet. On the way, Conny retrieves the incriminating cell phone and plans to hand it to his lawyer in hopes of overturning the conviction. At the airport, however, Conny ditches Musse and Norinder and attempts to deliver the evidence to his lawyer, who is waiting there. Helena intercepts him by firing a shot into his shoulder, stealing the phone, and sending him to hospital.

In the hospital, Helena visits Conny and tries to inject him with cyanide, but Diana intervenes. Diana realizes Helena’s corruption and helps Conny escape through a window. The pair become fugitives, with their faces shown on the news as they evade capture. While on the run, they aim to collect new evidence stored on the hard drive of Mimmi’s TV and bring it to Hasse, who is staying in a hotel. There, they uncover that Hasse and Helena are working together, and they devise a plan to bring the two criminals to justice. They call in the police on themselves to lure a team led by Josef Peter Gardiner to the hotel. As Diana and Conny separate, Helena abandons a drug exchange to aid in Diana’s arrest. In a tense elevator scene, Helena and Josef ride together while Conny connects the hard drive to the elevator screen to reveal the damning evidence to Josef, who immediately arrests Helena.
