Jagruthi Foundation—established by a royal dynasty in Ananthapur—spans thousands of acres and runs a network of schools, colleges, hospitals, orphanages, nursing homes, and a wide range of social services. Its smooth operation rests with trustee Narayana Rao, but a ruthless challenge rises when Vikram Sarkar, a vicious mafia leader, decides to exploit the foundation by sidestepping missing original documents to convert the charity into a factory project. In response, Narayana Rao launches a legal gambit, insisting that the foundation’s heir and the crucial documents be produced within a month. The hunt for the heir becomes a high-stakes game as Sarkar and his henchmen close in, while Sarkar covertly mobilizes a professional goon to eliminate anyone who stands in his way.

To advance his plan, Sarkar enlists Beeku [Ravi Kishan] to carry out brutal killings, and the pursuit soon ferries into a global chase when Narayana Rao traces their moves to the United Kingdom. Amid this, Raja Rao—the third-generation holder of the foundation’s papers—also appears on the scene, intending to aid the public interest. Yet a road accident ends his life and the all-important documents vanish, leaving the case in a tangle of missing records and shifting loyalties.

Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, a different story unfolds around Balu, a rough-edged taxi driver with a stubborn streak—he hates it when the horn blares and treats the city’s traffic with blunt impatience. His life takes a surprising turn when he falls for the town’s inept Sub-Inspector Bellam Sridevi [Raashi Khanna], a relationship that begins as a rocky clash of personalities but gradually ripens into something deeper. One day, fate drops a larger share of responsibility into Balu’s lap when he discovers an Anglo-Indian orphan boy hidden in the trunk of his own cab. He names the child Rajan and, with the help of his intoxicated father, forms a makeshift family, bound by care and a growing sense of duty.

The drama thickens when Beeku abducts Rajan and transports him to Odisha, a move meant to tighten Sarkar’s grip on the documents. The revelation—a crucial turn—tells them that Rajan is the actual heir of the foundation, and that Sarkar has already killed Rajan’s parents to secure control. Balu’s father joins Narayana Rao in the effort to reclaim Rajan and clear the foundation’s name, and Balu intensifies his search to bring the boy home. Along the way, he meets two musicians, Seenayya and Shivayya, who offer a ride and join the broader effort—a reminder that the path to justice often travels through unlikely alliances.

Earlier, Balu had somehow involved Sridevi in the mission to trace Rajan, a thread that will resurface in the film’s emotional fabric. As the journey leads them toward Ananthapur, the stakes rise when Beeku corners Balu and the group, and a disabled man whose daughter is sheltered by Balu and Rajan offers protection against the oncoming goons. In the ensuing clash, Balu’s resolve shines through as he fights to safeguard Rajan and Sridevi, sending them toward the court where the truth must come to light.

In the courtroom drama, Sarkar tries to coerce Rajan into lying by highlighting the danger that Balu would face if the truth comes out. But Balu arrives just in time, and Rajan steps forward with the documents—hidden away inside an Iron Man toy—that can prove everything. Rajan’s testimony also exposes Sarkar’s crimes, and the corrupt tycoon is arrested. The confrontation crescendos when Sarkar shoots at Balu and Rajan, only to be met by Sridevi’s decisive shot at close range, a moment that earns her a gold medal from the government and fulfills a dream she has long cherished.

In the aftermath, the community’s healing begins. The bond between Balu and Bellam Sridevi deepens into affection and commitment, and the two decide to marry, surrounded by their families and the support of those who stood by them through the long, perilous journey. The film closes on a note of renewal and justice, with a sense that integrity and compassion can prevail even when the odds are stacked against a community’s most cherished institutions.
