Raayan

In an unnamed village, Raayan's parents disappear and he becomes the caretaker of his siblings. A priest tries to abduct their infant sister Durga, and Raayan kills the priest to protect her. This brutal incident forces the family to flee to the city, starting Raayan's path into adulthood.

The siblings move to the city, where market businessman Sekhar takes them in and treats them like family. Raayan begins working for Sekhar to support his siblings. Durga, Manickam, and Muthu settle into a new urban life under Sekhar's care.

Years pass and Raayan becomes a food-truck owner in North Chennai. Manickam is a college student and Muthu is a hot-headed alcoholic who loves Meghalai. Sekhar remains a steady ally and provider for the family.

Durai and Sethu are rival gangsters with a deadly feud after Durai killed Sethu's father. Police commissioner Sargunam resents Durai and schemes to pit the two gangs against each other. He aims to weaken both through manipulation and an encounter-driven strategy.

Sargunam deploys goons to ambush Sethu, who fights back and kills the intruders. In the ensuing chaos at a local bar, Durai's son is killed by Sethu's men while Muthu is present and survives. The incident escalates the feud and taints Sethu with blame for Durai's loss.

Durai learns that Muthu was involved and demands Raayan to hand over Muthu within 24 hours. Instead, Raayan teams up with Muthu and Manickam to kill Durai and his gang, extinguishing the rival faction. This marks Raayan's deeper plunge into violence to protect his family.

Sethu uncovers Raayan’s role in Durai’s death and invites him to join his side, promising protection for Raayan and his family. Raayan refuses and hints at a looming threat to Sethu. Sethu escalates, attempting to assassinate Raayan with hired goons, but one surviving henchman returns to report Raayan’s prowess.

With Durga’s wedding approaching, Raayan plans to shoulder about ₹5 lakhs for the expenses and the dowry. To fund this, he contemplates handing over his profitable mobile hotel and all their bank savings to the groom’s family. The mounting pressure tests his resolve as he balances loyalty and desperation.

Raayan intends to ambush Sethu at his second wife Annam’s house the night before Durga’s wedding but finds Durga bound in a trap. Guru, one of Sethu’s henchmen, abducts Durga and sexually assaults her. Durga escapes and seeks help at a nearby clinic, his safety hanging by a thread.

Muthu and Manickam, who were not publicly aligned with Sethu, are revealed to have been aiding him to support the household. Durga escapes and informs Raayan; Meghalai gives birth to a child of Muthu’s bloodline, signaling new stakes for the family. The group hides in an isolated house as Raayan recovers and plans their next move.

After nearly a year, Raayan recovers and kidnaps Annam, demanding Guru be sent to him instead. Sethu agrees, but Durga kills Guru, removing a crucial link in Sethu’s chain. Raayan now formally resolves to eliminate Sethu and his faction once and for all.

During Bhogi celebrations, Durga stabs Manickam for betraying Raayan. In the ensuing battle, Raayan kills Sethu and his gang, and reluctantly kills Muthu, bringing the family’s vendetta to its apex. The siblings’ violent past catches up with them in a brutal showdown.

The next day, Commissioner Sargunam waits with money for Raayan, intending to kill him and bury the deals. Raayan outsmarts him by not showing up. Meghalai hands over her child to Raayan and Durga, saying she does not want a child of his bloodline, and the family leaves for Coimbatore to seek a peaceful life.
