In the picturesque town of Kodaikanal, a haunting tale unfolds, centered around the intricate bond between a young man named Raam Jiiva and his mother Saradha Saranya Ponvannan. The narrative opens with a chilling scene — both Raam and his mother lie in a pool of blood. When the authorities discover Raam is alive, they arrest him on suspicions of murdering his mother, launching a tense investigation led by Police Inspector Umar Rahman.

The story unfolds mainly through a gripping flashback: Raam as a teenager struggles with mental challenges, later diagnosed as autistic. His deep, almost obsessive love for his mother draws Saradha into a web of trouble. Raam, who has little tolerance for wrongdoing, becomes the prime suspect in Saradha’s murder. As Inspector Umar digs into Raam’s past and the lives of those around him, a web of possible motives begins to surface.

Nearby lives Karthikayini Malaichamy Gajala, the daughter of Sub-Inspector Malaichamy Murali. She is drawn to Raam, but his response to her affection is blunt and uncompromising. The tension escalates when Saradha is found murdered, pushing Umar to persist in his pursuit of the truth.

The police reveal a shocking truth: Satish Kunal Shah, Karthikayini’s brother, carried out the act out of fear that Saradha would expose his drug addiction. When confronted by Umar, Satish inflicts fatal harm and escapes, leaving chaos in his wake.

Driven by a sense of justice, Raam tracks Satish’s hideout. A brutal confrontation follows, culminating in Raam overpowering the antagonist. The film concludes with the police closing in on the hideout, and Raam meditates on a dilapidated rooftop, a moment that echoes the unresolved tension of the story.
