Raayan

Raayan evolves from a teenage caretaker in a rural village into a protective head of the family after their parents vanish. He kills a priest to defend his infant sister, marking a path into violence. As years pass, he becomes a food-truck owner in North Chennai and a calculated avenger who will do whatever it takes to secure his family’s future.

Manickam is Raayan's younger brother, a college student whose loyalty to family is tested by poverty and violence. Sethu is a cunning rival gangster who seeks power through manipulation and intimidation. He relentlessly targets Raayan and his family, orchestrating ambushes and betrayals as he fights to dominate the local underworld.

The newly transferred police commissioner, Sargunam bears a personal grudge against Durai due to his father’s death. He engineers moves to pit Sethu and Durai against each other and ultimately negotiates a deal with Raayan that promises safety in exchange for elimination of Sethu’s gang, while aiming to protect his own power.

Annam is Sethuraman's wife. She becomes a focal point in Raayan's ambush plan and is caught in the crossfire between rival factions, illustrating the danger that familial ties pose in a world of crime.

Meghalai's father is a background figure within the Meghalai family circle, representing the traditional authority and expectations that influence the choices and pressures faced by Megalai and her kin.
