Ek Love Ya

Amar is a young man who dreams of fulfilling his father Shankar's wish for him to become a lawyer. Years later, he becomes an alcoholic lawyer working for the famous criminal lawyer Vishwanath and he meets Swati, a junior lawyer who is Vishwanath's daughter. Their encounter sets the stage for a tangled mentor–protege relationship that blends ambition with personal ties.

A flashback reveals Amar's childhood love Anitha, who leaves him for reasons that are later explained. It is revealed that Anitha actually loved Amar, but sacrificed the relationship because Shankar did not want Amar's career ambitions to be sidelined by love. The moment frames Anitha's loyalty as a driving force behind the tragedy.

Anitha is mysteriously thrown from an under-construction building and falls into a coma. Officials quickly pin Amar as the culprit, and he is arrested, awaiting punishment from the court. The weight of the accusation intensifies Amar's internal struggle as he confronts his perceived guilt.

Shankar reveals that Anitha sacrificed her love to protect Amar's career, leaving Amar heartbroken and realizing his misjudgment about her. The revelation reframes the tragedy and spurs Amar toward a renewed, if conflicted, resolve.

The next day at court, Amar escapes from the police and gathers his friends and Swathi to help slip Anitha out of the hospital. They begin an informal investigation to uncover the truth behind Anitha's coma and the mounting accusations against Amar. The plan hinges on uncovering hidden connections and false leads.

They review CCTV footage with Swathi's help and identify Amar's friend Daisy, a sex worker, as part of the network around the case. Their investigation suggests that the culprit was at a hotel, setting them on a new trail.

The team traces the trail to a hotel and questions the manager who was connected to a resident named Ramesh. They soon discover that both Ramesh and Daisy are dead, adding a dangerous layer to the mystery and hinting at a deeper conspiracy.

Interviews with Sheela reveal Anitha had wanted to meet Amar for reconciliation, but the culprit acted too quickly. The new information keeps driving Amar toward the truth and toward confronting the culprit in court.

A wedding videographer confirms Anitha was waiting for Amar at the hotel. Sheela calls Amar to reveal that the culprit has arrived, and Amar goes to Sheela's house to present the culprit in court. The culprit, Lakshman, confesses and Amar is exonerated.

As Amar leaves the scene for prison, Lakshman is shot dead by Anitha's father. The act clears Amar temporarily, but the tragedy deepens as the true mastermind behind the scheme begins to surface, hinting at Arjun's involvement.

Amar confronts Vishwanath and reveals that Arjun, Vishwanath's son, is the real culprit behind the scheme. Vishwanath had learned of Arjun's misdeeds and attempted to shield him, blaming Amar and orchestrating a cover to silence witnesses, including Anitha.

Swathi learns of Vishwanath and Arjun's misdeeds and is disgusted by the moral corruption around her. The film ends with Amar living with his friends in a hill house, still speaking to Anitha, who remains mentally unstable but is a living memory.
