Mobarak is celebrating Eid on the roof of his community center in Shantinir, Dhaka, along with his relatives. During his performance, he suddenly collapses and dies before completing his song, leaving the community shocked and grieving.

A year after Mobarak's death, Jahangir, his younger cousin, manages a decorative business and plans to demolish the community center. His behavior causes annoyance among local residents, who nickname him 'Khaishta Jahangir' due to his rude demeanor.

Jahangir's nephew, recently returned from Canada, invites him to his house for Eid and gifts him a Punjabi. The invite indicates strained family relations but also a moment of social connection during Eid.

That night, Jahangir experiences unsettling events, including nightmares with Mobarak’s spirit foretelling ghostly figures showing him glimpses of his past, present, and future, leading to his confusion and fear.

Jahangir encounters a ghost claiming to be the spirit of his past, shown through the form of actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The ghost reveals Jahangir's early life, including his parents' death, his sister's demise, meeting Jesmin, and their marriage with conditions.

The ghost depicts Jahangir's past, including his love for Jesmin, their marriage, and the sacrifices she made to support his studies and care for his nephew. It emphasizes the foundation of his current neglect of her and his family.

The ghost of the present appears as Jaya Ahsan, showing Jahangir his current life, marked by selfishness and rudeness towards Jesmin and Joy. Their relationship deteriorates, leading to Jesmin leaving after divorcing him, and Joy being taken away to London.

Jahangir is shown the future by the ghost of Aupee Karim, which reveals his coworkers' poverty, Joy and Jesmin's life in Dhaka, and the possibility of losing his loved ones and himself if he continues his current path.

Realizing through the ghosts' visions, Jahangir reflects on his mistakes, leading him to abandon his rude attitude. He begins to treat others with kindness, visits Mobarak's grave, and seeks to amend his relationships.

Jahangir pays respects to Mobarak, learns that Esha is his daughter, and reunites with Jesmin, inviting her and her family to the Eid celebration. He publicly announces his retirement and decides to preserve the community center in Mobarak's memory.

The film concludes with Jahangir, Jesmin, and Esha celebrating Eid together at the community center. The ghosts, in their respective forms, watch fireworks display in the city, symbolizing peace and resolution.
