Chinarayudu

Chinnarayudu is the village's trusted arbitrator who ensures justice and peace. He steps in whenever injustice arises and resolves matters in an authentic manner. He lives with his mother Durgamma, and his rival is Pasupathi, his brother-in-law.

Gowri, a girl who rears goats, clashes with Chinnarayudu during a spinning-top incident. Children bring the matter to his attention, and he tries to talk to her and resolve it. The next day, he wins a spinning-top challenge against her, and a playful moment where the top spins around on her belly deepens their budding affection.

Gowri owes a large debt to Pasupathi to help educate her sister Ganga. She cannot repay it, so the issue goes to Chinnarayudu's judgment, putting him at the center of the dispute. The debt hangs over her head and sets the stakes for their growing relationship.

To repay the debt, Gowri must collect money from villagers, a task that tests her resolve and connects the community. The case is resolved through Chinnarayudu's judgment, and through these events her bond with him grows. This journey eventually leads to her marriage to Chinnarayudu.

In an auction, Chinnarayudu loses to Pasupathi, fueling a bitter grudge. Pasupathi poisons a fish lake and frames Chinnarayudu for the crime, turning the village against him. The accusation triggers a fresh crisis that endangers his reputation.

Prakash Rao, raised and educated by Chinnarayudu, schemes to testify against him, feeling insulted. Gowri pleads with him to stop, but when other options run out she kills him with an axe to prevent the testimony. The act lands Gowri in remand as the case unfolds.

Ganga becomes pregnant, and Chinnarayudu takes the blame to protect her. Durgamma sends him out of the house, and the social stigma intensifies the conflict around him. The village's trust in him is shaken as he bears the burden.

Gowri is remanded in jail and, in despair, attempts suicide. Chinnarayudu visits her in the hospital, hinting at a truth he will reveal to defend her. The emotional toll deepens as they navigate a dangerous legal battle.

Chinnarayudu reveals that Prakash Rao is the father of Ganga's child and that he had taken the blame to protect Gowri. Gowri begins to see the deeper truth behind the case, realizing the complexity of mercy and guilt. The revelation reframes the conflict and sets up the pursuit of justice.

Chinnarayudu learns that Prakash Rao did not die after Gowri's attack; Pasupathi killed him later. This clarifies the chain of events and shifts the community's understanding of guilt. Gowri's actions are seen in a new light as part of a larger plot.

Ganga gives birth to a baby and finally tells the truth to everyone before dying. Her death marks a turning point that clears some misunderstandings and intensifies the push for accountability. The village grapples with the truth in the wake of loss.

Chinnarayudu corners Pasupathi and brings him to the panchayat, forcing the truth to surface. Pasupathi realizes his mistakes and ultimately surrenders to the police. The community faces the consequences of the grudges that fueled the crisis.

With the truth revealed and justice served, the village begins to heal from the turmoil. Chinnarayudu's leadership and Gowri's loyalty strengthen the community's faith in right-principled authority, and the couple's bond is affirmed.
