Alice Urvashi comes from a large, impoverished family that includes three sisters, a skilled but overworked mechanic father, and a devoted grandmother. She works as a receptionist at Pulikkattil Financiers, a local finance company that sits at the crossroads of need, debt, and everyday struggle in their community.
One day, Sunny [Jayaram] arrives as a broker at the same finance company, hoping to arrange a vehicle, and his path crosses with Alice in a moment that hints at a deeper connection to come. Soon after, Sunny and Scariah [Jagadish] begin working for Mathew Pulikkadan [Jagathy Sreekumar] as vehicle recovery agents, navigating a rougher side of the business and the city’s debts.
Sunny develops a budding affection for Alice, while Scariah is drawn to her younger sister Annie [Usha]. The quiet tension between affection and loyalty threads through their days as the family’s fortunes feel precarious and fragile.
Trouble erupts when Alice’s father, Mathachan [Babu Namboothiri], is accused in a murder investigation and arrested. Sunny doesn’t hesitate to step in, using what he can to help prove Mathachan’s innocence, and the family’s gratitude grows as the truth begins to surface.
Mathachan later opens up about his past life, recounting a village existence where his family lived as farmers, sharing a simple joy that was shadowed by hardship. They lived beside a wealthy, cruel moneylender and his arrogant sons, who tormented them in various ways, including disturbing Mathachan’s eldest daughter Mollykutty [Chithra]. This painful history foreshadows the drive that will shape Sunny’s resolve to seek justice for them all.
After the city’s pressures and the personal revelations, they eventually move back to their village, and Sunny makes a decisive stand for justice on behalf of the family. He musters the courage to propose to Alice, but she explains that she will only settle down after her elder sisters are married off. Taking the challenge to heart, Sunny finds grooms for her two elder sisters, and, together with Annie and Mollykutty, all four sisters marry and begin anew.
With weddings and new beginnings, the family’s bonds strengthen, and they return to the village to reclaim Mathachan’s house and property, hoping to secure a steadier future for themselves. The story tracks a journey of resilience, kinship, and a vow to stand up against forces that once threatened to break them apart.
