In Germany, Arjun, a cheerful non-resident Indian, shares a life with his elderly, wealthy grandparents, Padmavati and Krishna Rao. For years, Padmavati has longed to see her grandson settle down, but Arjun fears that marriage would cost him everything he holds dear. The morning Padmavati dies, Krishna Rao is left crushed, unable to fulfill his wife’s last wish. He tries to pull Arjun toward commitment, yet Arjun stays distant. In the wake of this loss, Krishna Rao withdraws, and Arjun learns of a village life that sounds different from his current world. He heads there, promising himself that he’ll return with a life partner.

There, Arjun begins a quest to find love, guided by three childhood friends who stand in as potential brides: Shalini, Shravani, and Sandhya. Each woman represents a distinct path: Shalini as a tennis star, Shravani as a doctor, and Sandhya as a passionate women’s activist. Arjun presents himself as a simple commoner, and the three women grow close to him, forming a tangled yet hopeful bond. Krishna Rao urges him to seek something deeper than mere liking—the essence of true love.

Arjun’s first choice is [Sandhya], whose warmth and resolve quickly draw him in. Yet Sandhya’s pride creates friction; she treats him with disdain, calling him a tomboy and even delivering a sharp slap when his feelings seem misplaced. Undeterred, Arjun shifts his attention to Shalini, but a phone from the airport reveals she’s bound for Switzerland to compete, accompanied by a boyfriend. Around the same time, he hears from [Shravani], who asks for help when her grandmother falls seriously ill. Arjun travels to her side, offering both moral support and financial help, and a genuine bond begins to form with her.

Before long, Arjun rushes to Switzerland after a call from Shalini, hoping to spend time with her. Shalini’s family situation—her father [Prakash] reacting with anger to the pressures on her career—forces him to reevaluate his earlier selfish stance. He ultimately confesses his true feelings and reveals his identity, hoping to earn her trust as more than a fleeting admirer.

As the romantic landscape shifts, Shravani’s life takes another turn: she is engaged to an NRI, and Arjun’s efforts to steer her toward him falter. Krishna Rao, meanwhile, suggests a plan for selecting a suitable match from a list, prompting Arjun to seek his forgiveness for his earlier behavior. In a surprising turn, Sandhya steps forward with a renewed offer of partnership, and Arjun accepts, recognizing that she is the one who truly understands him.

During the bachelor party, Arjun encounters [Sarath], Sandhya’s ex-lover, and realizes that his own feelings for Sandhya endure. He reunites Sandhya with her former flame while continuing to navigate the others’ emotions. A dramatic moment unfolds when Arjun interrupts Shravani’s wedding, sensing danger in the groom’s hollow intentions. Krishna Rao arrives at the scene, and Shravani learns the truth about Arjun: he is the one who has stood by her all along. In a heartfelt turn, the couple’s bond deepens, and Sandhya’s faith in him is vindicated.

The film closes on a warm, hopeful note: the couple—Arjun and Sandhya—embark on a new life together, while Krishna Rao remains a steadfast presence by their side. The journey ends with the newlyweds settling in Germany, building a life that honors Padmavati’s dream and strengthens the family’s ties.
