Chinnayya works as a laborer for Peddayya in the village and earns his employer's respect. Peddayya treats Chinnayya like a son and provides him with care and protection. Their bond anchors the village’s social fabric and foreshadows the conflicts to come.

Peddayya dislikes Gowri and her husband Peddabbayi, keeping them at a distance from his wealth and trust. He guards Chinnayya from their influence and tensions simmer in the household. The rift between the families sets up later confrontations.

Prabhavathy returns from the US and confesses love for Chinnayya. Chinnayya initially resists, thinking a romance could betray Peddayya’s trust. The pair navigate their feelings amid a fragile family balance.

Chinnayya ultimately recognizes Prabhavathy's genuine affection and accepts her. He resolves not to betray Peddayya while honoring his new commitment. Their relationship begins to stabilize a household strained by hidden truths.

Prabhavathy accuses Chinnayya of attempting a rape, shattering the fragile harmony. Peddayya lashes out and ejects Chinnayya from his house. The accusation ignites a deep family rift and sets the stage for a long-hidden truth to emerge.

Simhadri, Chinnayya's father, is released from jail and comes to Peddayya's home. Prabhavathy tells him to go, reminding everyone that he was jailed for Lakshmi's murder. Old wounds resurface as the present conflicts spiral.

Peddayya explains the backstory in a flashback: Lakshmi dies after Simhadri kills her to stop Peddabbayi's scheme. Simhadri accepts responsibility and is arrested. Gowri and Prabhavathy come to despise him and his family for the tragedy.

To shield Gowri, Peddayya has Peddabbayi leave the house, and Gowri departs without fully understanding the truth. The family fractures as secrets stay buried rather than resolved. The past continues to haunt the present.

In the present timeline, a wedding is planned between Prabhavathy and Peddabbayi's younger brother Chinnababu. The arrangement intensifies rival loyalties within the family. Gowri watches silently as old truths begin to surface again.

On the day of the wedding, Gowri steps forward and reveals the truth about Lakshmi's death to everyone. The revelation shocks the attendees and fractures the fragile arrangements. Loyalties shift as past secrets threaten the present.

Peddabbayi, enraged by the disclosure, tries to kill Gowri. Simhadri intervenes and is stabbed, dying at the scene. The tragedy marks the collapse of several relationships within Peddayya's family.

Chinnababu confronts Peddabbayi and kills him after learning the truth about Lakshmi. Peddayya, devastated by Simhadri's death, dies beside his loyal servant. The family tragedy reaches its climactic end.

With secrets exposed and feuds resolved, Chinnayya and Prabhavathy marry. Their union offers a note of reconciliation amid the film's long-buried family wounds.
