Sudhi and Anu, two siblings studying at a boarding school in Ooty, live with the ache of separated parents and a mother they have never laid eyes on. While Vijayabhaskar navigates the responsibilities of the trip, the children manage to slip away from the caretakers and embark on a search for their mother. Their father discovers they are missing only to receive a call from the kids saying they have found their mother at a house in Bangalore—House No. 1, Love Shore, Bangalore North—thereby setting the stage for the unfolding drama. At this point they encounter a rich and kind woman named Hema, who bears a striking resemblance to the described mother and is mistaken by the children as the real thing.
