Scientist Rohit Mehra lives in Mumbai with his son Krishna, who is known as Krrish. They appear to lead an ordinary life, but Rohit's work on reviving dead tissues using solar energy is anything but typical.

Krishna juggles multiple day jobs, often losing them when he has to transform into his superhero alter ego, Krrish. His life reflects the struggles of balancing responsibility and identity.

When a news report reveals an airplane in distress due to malfunctioning tires, Krishna swiftly transforms into Krrish. He heroically intervenes and saves the aircraft, showcasing his courage as a superhero.

Rohit learns about a deadly virus causing destruction in Namibia and without an antidote available, he becomes increasingly worried. He contacts his colleague, Dr. Varun Shetty, to find a solution.

Rohit and Dr. Shetty's efforts are tragically cut short when both he and Dr. Alok Sen are brutally murdered by Kaya, a shape-shifting mutant. This event marks a significant setback in their fight against the virus.

It is revealed that Kaal has unleashed the virus in Africa with plans to profit off the antidote. This insidious act adds urgency to Rohit's mission to find a cure and save those infected.
