Elaine Parks, a beautiful young witch, drives to Arcata, California, seeking a fresh start after the recent death of her husband, Jerry. This town is known for accepting witches and their practices, making it the perfect getaway for Elaine to redefine her life.

Upon arriving in Arcata, Elaine moves into an apartment managed by her mentor, Barbara. The stylish interior decorator, Trish Manning, assists in making the space feel warm and inviting, helping Elaine adjust to her new surroundings.

During a visit to a cozy tea room, Elaine and Trish are surprised by an unexpected visit from Trish's husband, Richard. Richard quickly becomes infatuated with Elaine, sparking a complicated romantic tension.

Keen on finding romance, Elaine conducts a ritual to attract a partner. She invites Professor Wayne for dinner at his cabin, where she serves him a drink laced with hallucinogens, leading to a night of chaos and intimacy that spirals out of control.
