Arun is introduced as the haughty and belligerent son of wealthy Chidambaram and Annapoorani, a life framed by privilege and expectation. His days are marked by constant tiffs with a beautiful yet combative hotel dancer, Chithra, and despite their frequent clashes, a surprising and fragile bond begins to form between them, hinting at a love that could redefine both of their worlds. One night, a hit man, Kali, sent by Arun’s rivals, infiltrates his home with deadly intent. The assassination attempt shocks the household, and even as the intruder is pursued, Chidambaram seems to recognize the danger and lets the man escape. This moment plants the seeds of a deeper conspiracy, as Arun’s family legacy is suddenly wrapped in secrets and danger that threaten more than just happiness. The tension is sharpened by the realization that forces from outside the family are maneuvering to control Arun’s fate, and the lines between loyalty, hatred, and protection blur in the dim corridors of wealth and influence.

Driven by a desire to understand the truth behind the violence surrounding him, Arun confronts his father and demands answers. In a revelation that shatters his assumptions, Chidambaram confesses that he is not Arun’s biological father. Years earlier, he and Kali had been tasked with killing the infant Arun and his mother at the behest of Arun’s own father. Yet, in a show of mercy and humanity, Chidambaram chose to adopt and raise Arun as his own son, a decision that casts long shadows over every relationship within the family. The confession redefines Arun’s sense of belonging and loyalty, casting doubt on every memory that had once seemed sure.

In a further twist, Arun learns that his real mother is Laxmi, a woman who was abandoned and had been living under Chithra’s roof. This news unsettles him deeply, forcing him to reevaluate the past and the moral complexities that accompanied it. Laxmi’s past is more complicated than anyone knew, and her own testimony becomes a battleground in a larger fight for truth and justice. As the truth about Laxmi’s past emerges, it becomes clear that justice is not straightforward: she had been coerced or manipulated into lying in court, under pressure from a criminal world where mortality and reputation hang in the balance. Her husband, Velliangiri, is revealed as a key architect of the scheme, a man capable of brutal deceit to shield his associates, including Rajalingam.

The plot thickens as Velliangiri and Rajalingam—tied to a larger network of crime—had actually sent Kali to eliminate Arun. Upon learning that Laxmi is still alive, their plan shifts to silencing her as well, extending the danger to everyone she loves. The courtroom drama surrounding Laxmi’s witness statement becomes a pivotal hinge in the narrative, culminating in Laxmi’s arrest even as Arun fights to bail her out. Chidambaram, faced with threats to Annapoorani’s life, makes the painful decision to move Laxmi out of jail, further entangling the family in a web of risk and obligation.

Laxmi’s peril does not end there. She is eventually captured by Velliangiri and bound in his ominous bungalow, tying the fates of several characters to a single perilous location. To locate Laxmi and ensure she is safe, Arun undertakes a covert mission, entering the bungalow in disguise as Reddy garu. His espionage is aimed at guiding the police to Laxmi’s whereabouts and protecting her from those who would remove her from the equation forever.

In the ensuing confrontations, Arun makes a stand to shield his mother and to bring the criminal head of the family—his adoptive father Chidambaram’s estranged associates—and Rajalingam to justice. The pursuit unfolds as a tense blend of personal loyalty, family secrets, and the relentless pursuit of truth, all set against a backdrop of power, money, and vengeance. The story weaves together the threads of identity, belonging, and moral ambiguity, delivering a dramatic arc where every revelation tests trust and every decision carries the weight of life-and-death consequence.

Throughout the film, themes of secrecy, redemption, and the blurred lines between duty and affection drive the tension.
