A few years later, Gouridasan Namboothiri finds himself living in a precarious, impoverished situation with his mother and sisters. The revelation reframes the entire journey: the marriage is both a binding of love and a perilous pact with a malevolent force that seeks dominion over the living.

Meanwhile, Manickan—a son born of the other lineage—begins to uncover his own parentage. He learns who his real father is and travels to the palace in disguise, seeking his place within a world that has already begun to define him. Gouridasan brings Seemanthini home and introduces her as his wife, telling Rishikeshan that she is his daughter. A magical frog named Vamanam surfaces in the tale, helping Vamanam—an ally in the shadows—uncover the truth about Seemanthini’s true nature and her status as a ghost. The information, however, is not enough to sway Gouridasan, who remains committed to protecting his family’s legacy and those he loves, even as conflicting truths churn beneath the surface.

A dramatic dance duel between Anamika and Seemanthini marks a turning point, a symbolic clash of life and undead force that decides who will stand beside Gouridasan. After this confrontation, Seemanthini is chosen as Gouridasan’s wife, a decision that deepens the central conflict and raises questions about consent, power, and the bonds that hold a family together in the face of a vampiric legacy.
