Kill Boksoon

On a cold bridge, Bok-soon wakes Shinichiro Oda from a disoriented sleep. Oda asks why she hasn’t killed him yet, forcing Bok-soon to confront her code and her memories of Jae-young. The two agree to a fair fight, with Oda allowed to prepare his weapon, setting the stage for the duel.

The duel begins, but Bok-soon abandons the rules and shoots Oda mid-battle. Oda curses her in Korean as she ends him for good. The bridge becomes the site of his death and Bok-soon’s unwavering resolve.

Returning home, Bok-soon resumes her quiet domestic life. While doing laundry, she discovers cigarettes in Jae-young's clothes, triggering memories of an abusive father who forced her to smoke. She lights one and sits in silence, unable or unwilling to confront her daughter.

In the agency, director Min-kyu assigns Bok-soon a new contract, offering a choice between a foreign or domestic assassination. Worried about Jae-young's safety, she selects the local job. The decision tightens the family’s fate while testing Bok-soon's loyalties.

Her target is a prime minister nominee who staged his son's death as a murder-suicide to cover up a college admissions scandal. Realizing the target's guilt and grief, Bok-soon spares him and lies that the mission failed. This mercy marks a rare rupture in her mercenary code.

Min-kyu grows suspicious of Bok-soon's mission, but she maintains that it failed, aided by intern Young-ji. The agency's trust in Bok-soon begins to fray as pressure mounts. Bok-soon's lie buys her time but deepens the risk.

At school, Jae-young confesses to her mother that she is a lesbian. Earlier, she stabbed classmate Chul-woo with scissors after he secretly filmed her and So-ra and mocked their relationship. She reveals the stabbing was retaliation born of anger and fear of exposure.

Young-ji visits Bok-soon after being fired and is taken to a friend's restaurant where fellow assassins gather, including Hee-sung. It turns out Hee-sung had staged Bok-soon's failed mission at the behest of Min-hee, who wants Bok-soon dead. The assassins turn on Bok-soon, but she massacres them all, sparing only Young-ji.

Learning that Hee-sung's betrayal was coerced, Bok-soon ends his life herself and reports the cleanup to avoid implicating Young-ji. The act cleanses the immediate threat but leaves deeper enemies unaddressed. Bok-soon moves to tighten control of the situation.

Min-kyu confronts Bok-soon, pushing for punishment and binding her to a new contract under stricter terms. Bok-soon agrees, but she remains wary of the director's motives and the growing danger around Jae-young. The arrangement sets the stage for a final reckoning.

Bok-soon moves against Min-hee and then Min-kyu in a brutal final confrontation. She manipulates Min-kyu’s emotions to gain the upper hand and kills him, unaware that his office CCTV streams live to a tablet delivered to Jae-young. The revelation fuels a chilling sense of unintended consequence.

Bok-soon rushes home, expecting trauma but finding Jae-young calm and affectionate instead. The scene contrasts Bok-soon’s violence with her daughter’s unnerving composure and hints at a future they may navigate together. The domestic life gradually returns, now shadowed by what she has become.

In the epilogue, news reports say the corrupt prime minister candidate has died in an apparent suicide. Jae-young, dressed in red like her mother, visits her school one last time and leaves cryptic, threatening words to So-ra and Chul-woo before walking away with confidence. The two women move forward with uneasy harmony and a future full of dangerous possibilities.
