Judge Dredd

In Mega-City One, a brutal block war erupts and Judge Dredd leads a violent crackdown alongside rookie Hershey. During the raid, Dredd and Hershey subdue the criminals, and Dredd apprehends Fergie, a hacker and parolee hiding in a city-owned robot. Dredd sentences Fergie to five more years for property destruction.

Rico, secretly imprisoned at Aspen, receives a covert message and escapes. He returns to Mega-City One, retrieves his Judge uniform and Lawgiver, and reactivates a decommissioned ABC Warrior to serve him. Disguised as Dredd, Rico plots to reclaim power and wreak havoc in the city.

Returning to Mega-City One, Rico, in disguise as Dredd, shoots and kills Vartis Hammond, a reporter who criticized the Judges’ violent methods. The assassination demonstrates Rico's willingness to use Dredd's identity to manipulate public opinion. The city reels from the sudden murder as evidence begins to mount against Dredd.

Evidence ties the murder to Dredd through bullets bearing his DNA, leading to a public conviction before the Council of Judges. Despite Hershey's defense, Dredd is found guilty, exposing the fragile integrity of the system. Fargo retires to shield Dredd's life at the last moment and begins the Long Walk.

Dredd is sentenced to life imprisonment as the council's decision seals his fate. Fargo interrupts to retire from the Council and begins the Long Walk, the grueling test for a retired Judge to enforce the law in the Cursed Earth. The two fates diverge while Rico's plan accelerates in the background.

On the transport to the penal colony, Dredd sits beside Fergie, but their journey is interrupted when the Angel Gang ambushes the convoy. Fargo sacrifices himself to shield Dredd and is mortally wounded. Before dying, Fargo reveals that Dredd and Rico are clones created by the Janus Project and warns Dredd of Griffin's conspiracy.

Rico launches a brutal campaign across Mega-City One, killing Judges to weaken the city's defenses. Griffin manipulates the Council to unlock the Janus Project, aiming to create a ruthless army of clones. The city trembles as the scheme moves forward.

At the Janus lab inside the Statue of Liberty, Rico replaces the original DNA with his own to seed clones with free will for his new family. When Griffin protests, Rico has the ABC Warrior kill Griffin, cementing his control over the project. The lab marks a turning point toward the creation of the clone army.

Dredd and Fergie return to Mega-City One and join Hershey, who uncovers the Janus Project. They infiltrate the lab, but the ABC Warrior injures Fergie and captures Hershey, forcing a dangerous confrontation with Rico's forces. The rebels plan a rescue.

Rico confronts Dredd, insisting they are family and offering Dredd a leading role over the newly created clones. Dredd refuses, choosing to uphold his own code rather than join Rico's cause. Fergie disables the ABC Warrior, buying time for the team.

Rico activates the clones prematurely, triggering a lab explosion that destroys the partial clone army and halts Rico's bid for control. The blast devastates the lab and its corridors as alarms blare. Dredd races toward the top of the Statue to confront Rico.

Dredd pursues Rico to the top of the Statue, where he finally throws Rico to his death, ending the crisis. Back on the ground, the city broadcasts the truth about Janus, clearing Dredd's name. The Judges offer him the role of Chief Justice, but Dredd declines and chooses to remain a street Judge.
