In a dystopian future, a city has emerged where individuals with special abilities, known as “Powers,” initially thrive but soon find themselves marginalized as the Third Industrial Revolution unfolds. As crime syndicates like The Trust exploit the situation by distributing an addictive substance called Psyke, derived from the spinal fluid of trafficked Powers, the government reacts by mandating the registration of all Powers. This leads to the deployment of robotic enforcers, known as Guardians, to monitor and arrest unregistered individuals, while an ongoing citywide ban on Powers looms in the background.

At the heart of this turmoil is Connor Reed (Robbie Amell), who is battling to secure medical treatment for his mother, Mary (Kari Matchett), whose declining health hinders her Cryokinetic abilities. As he struggles to make ends meet through various low-paying jobs, his path intersects with Garrett (Stephen Amell), a Telekinetic and member of a criminal operation led by the desperate Marcus Sutcliffe (Greg Bryk). Garrett quickly recognizes Connor’s untapped potential as an “electric” and begins to train him for a series of precarious heists that could pay off in big ways.

Meanwhile, a web of crime and betrayal unfolds as Nia (Kyla Kane), the mysterious healer tied to Marcus, becomes pivotal in Connor’s quest to save his mother. Connor soon learns that his only allies in this chaotic environment are the dedicated members of Garrett’s crew, including Freddie (Vlad Alexis), a mute Brawn with super strength, and Maddy (Laysla De Oliveira), who possesses Pyrokinesis.

As tensions rise, the group embarks on an ill-fated bank robbery that yields far less than expected, leading to violent confrontations with both rival gangs and law enforcement. The stakes intensify further when Marcus’s mounting debts bring him into conflict with the ruthless mafia lord Wesley (Peter Outerbridge), whose threats loom over their every move. When tragedy strikes and their plans begin to unravel, Connor realizes that he must navigate not only the criminal underworld but also the burden of his abilities and the life of his ailing mother.

Amidst betrayals and moral dilemmas, Connor finds himself at a crossroads, ultimately forced to choose between saving his mother or preserving the life of Nia, who embodies the very healing he seeks. The film concludes with Connor, left devastated by loss, choosing the path of a fugitive, while the fate of all Powers hangs in the balance with the impending vote on the Powers Ban. As the dust settles, Connor’s grief and resilience loom large, marking the end of a tumultuous chapter in their shared struggle against the oppressive society that yearns to silence them.
