In a futuristic setting where every crime carries a price and bounties—dead or alive—are placed on offenders, a dedicated police officer is assigned to protect a reporter who has uncovered a secretive faction of crooked, renegade cops. As she learns too much, the officer shields her from the relentless pursuit of the corrupt group.
