Vikram, an NRI writer, holds his second book launch in Mumbai, excited about his latest literary work. The event showcases his success, but little does he know that his life is about to take a dark turn.

Returning to his hotel after the launch, Vikram finds his wife Catherine dead. In a state of panic and confusion, he contacts the police, fearing he will be implicated in her demise.

In desperation, Vikram evades the police and flees in his car. The chase escalates, resulting in a car accident that flips his vehicle, causing him minor injuries and forcing him to seek refuge.
