I Am Wrath

In Columbus, Ohio, Governor John Meserve is confronted by reporters during a press conference. He addresses public concerns about a controversial pipeline project and promises an independent investigation into its safety and environmental risks.

Vivian Hill, the lead researcher for the pipeline investigation, gets ready to pick up her husband, Stanley, from the airport. Stanley has just returned from a job interview in California, and Vivian is eager to see him again.

Upon reaching their car after the airport, Vivian and Stanley discover that they have a flat tire. As Stanley begins to deal with the problem, a man approaches them, asking for money, which leads to unforeseen violence.

As Stanley declines the beggar's request, he is suddenly struck in the head by an accomplice. In a horrifying turn of events, Vivian is stabbed, and in the chaos, the attackers steal her wallet, leaving Stanley devastated.

Following Vivian's tragic murder, Stanley becomes consumed by grief and a desire for justice. He cooperates with the police, providing them with information about the assailants, which leads to the arrest of Charley 'Fly' Lawes.

Despite Stanley's positive identification of Charley, corrupt officers Gibson and Walker allow the suspect to escape. This betrayal deepens Stanley's anguish and fuels his thirst for vengeance.

Back home, Stanley finds a Bible verse that resonates deeply with him: 'I am filled with the wrath of the Lord.' This moment sparks his transformation, as he adopts the name 'Wrath' and begins plotting his revenge.

With the help of his friend Dennis, a former Special Forces operative, Wrath starts hunting for those involved in Vivian's murder. They manage to locate one of the attackers, who reveals that the murder was part of a larger scheme.

As Wrath and Dennis dispose of evidence, they inadvertently attract the attention of Lemuel 'Lemi K,' an Armenian crime lord. Wrath learns that Vivian's murder had deeper implications linked to the pipeline project.

Wrath sets his sights on Lars, another accomplice involved in the attack. After tattooing 'I Am Wrath' on his back, he executes a brutal revenge plan that leads him closer to Lemi K.

Lemi K resorts to desperate measures, kidnapping Stanley's family, including his daughter Abbie. Tensions rise as Stanley and Dennis arrive just in time to confront Lemi's henchmen in a brutal firefight.

During the confrontation, Lemi K discloses that Governor Meserve is the mastermind behind the nefarious schemes, motivated by his own self-preservation. This shocking revelation escalates an already chaotic standoff.

In the heat of the final showdown, Wrath confronts Officer Gibson, who reveals that Lemi K holds incriminating evidence against Governor Meserve. Faced with a moral choice, Wrath decides to take justice into his own hands.

Awash in anger, Wrath orchestrates a thrilling getaway that leads to an explosive confrontation with Gibson and Walker. He uses a fiery explosion as a way to rid himself of his tormentors and confront the lingering threat of corruption.

After the confrontation, Stanley, though wounded, is left contemplating his uncertain future as he faces a FISA Court trial. During his recovery, he has a heartfelt moment with his daughter Abbie, before setting off on a journey to seek justice once again.
