Deadly Outbreak

Hatfield leads the convoy of scientists into the Research Development Institute facility outside Tel Aviv. The mission quickly sours as the scientists are revealed to be terrorists led by Baron. The stage is set for a violent hijacking and the virus plot is unleashed.

Baron and his eight men declare their objective: seize a deadly virus sample and weaponize it with five pre-arranged bombs in Washington, D.C. as leverage for payment. The group asserts control while keeping their hostages in line. Hatfield realizes the gravity of the threat and sacrifices routine guard duties to stop them.

Hatfield identifies the terrorist plot and eliminates three of the attackers. The remaining five terrorists seize the four surviving scientists—Pawklowsky, Elaine Starkov, Eliot Stein, and Abrahams—as hostages. The facility erupts into a tense standoff with time running out.

Hatfield meets Dr. Allie Levin, the virus researcher, and plans to evacuate through the basement tunnels with Ira's help. They encounter two more terrorists; Ira is killed shielding Levin, marking a personal turning point for Hatfield. Levin becomes a focal point for their escape plan.

With Ira's death, Hatfield and Levin share grief and begin to lean on one another. Their conversation reveals shared losses and hints at a growing attraction under pressure. The alliance strengthens as the mission's danger intensifies.

Baron's ruthless lieutenant Ramos starts executing hostages to force Hatfield into surrender. The first casualty is Dr. Abrahams, underscoring the brutality of the operation. The rescue operation has effectively turned into a countdown.

To minimize further bloodshed, Hatfield agrees to swap the virus cylinder for the second hostage, Dr. Stein. Ramos retrieves the cylinder and shoots Stein, then escapes with the critical evidence. The escape compounds the crisis and narrows Hatfield's options.

Baron orders Dr. Berg to prepare a toxin sample as a show of power. In a betrayal, Baron destroys the demonstration by killing Berg after ripping off his gas mask. The toxic display accomplishes Baron's objective of intimidation and eliminates a key scientist.

Baron and Ramos transfer Levin and two scientists—along with Pawklowsky and Starkov—onto a bus, while General Miller and Colonel Gideon clear a road to the airport. $500 million is wired to Baron's account and the remaining $10 million is loaded onto the waiting plane. The escape plan accelerates toward an ending.

Gallo pursues Hatfield in security vans through the evacuation tunnels toward the loading dock. The pursuit culminates in a fiery crash as Hatfield evades capture and Gallo is killed in the blast. The deadly chase adds urgency to the already precarious operation.

Colonel Gideon arrives in a helicopter to extract Hatfield from the facility vicinity. The rescue arrives just as the situation shifts toward the bus confrontation on the runway. Hatfield prepares to confront Baron with the escape plan in motion.

On the bus toward the airport, Ramos kills Starkov and Pawklowsky to force a stop. Hatfield fights Baron at the wheel, knocks him unconscious, and tries to halt the bus. Baron awakens, the bus crashes into a parked fuel truck, and the explosive inferno kills Baron.

A final surviving terrorist on the getaway plane shoots Hatfield in the shoulder, but Colonel Gideon sniper-kills the attacker. Hatfield reclaims his family moment as he reunites with his son and with Levin, ending the ordeal on a fragile, hopeful note.
