Captain Amy Jennings Theresa Randle races to rally the base’s defenses as the alarm sounds. The assault culminates in the shocking destruction of the airbase’s aircraft and helicopters when the first airliner crashes into the tarmac, killing many aboard and leaving the command center reeling. Jennings believes the threat can still be stopped and seeks immediate help from her commanding officer, Colonel Halloran Jeff Fahey, who must decide whether to risk a dangerous rescue mission.
