The Deadly Camp

Hwa and his girlfriend are killed in a brutal opening sequence by a chainsaw-wielding man wrapped in bandages on a secluded island. The moment establishes the killer’s threat and the remote setting. This attack foreshadows the danger that will confront the campers later.

Three couples and Soldier arrive by boat and plan to camp on the island for three days. Soldier confiscates everyone’s cell phones to avoid disturbances, then leaves the hiding spot, only for one phone to be taken by an unseen thief. The group begins settling in while oblivious to the lurking danger.

In the evening, they meet Boar and his group, led by a man who presents himself as a prophylactic salesman but is really a smuggler. Boar’s henchmen Pervert and Blowie wander off to urinate and end up peeing on and accidentally setting fire to a deformed boy they encounter. The encounter hints at the killers’ reach and the danger ahead.

In the afternoon of the next day, Pervert is captured by the deformed boy and his father. The boy’s father dismembers Pervert with a chainsaw, demonstrating the brutal law of the family living on the island. The campers slowly become aware that the family is far more dangerous than they imagined.

Boar and his wife Mi Mi are captured by the bandaged man and taken to his home. To bargain for freedom, Boar tries to teach the man’s son how to 'screw' Mi Mi, which enrages the man. Mi Mi is killed by the bandaged man after the confrontation.

Boar escapes the home but triggers a tripwire on his way out. He is impaled by punji sticks, a grim reminder of the family’s deadly defenses. The escape leaves the others increasingly uneasy about their safety.

Linda and Be Be discover Boar’s body, then Be Be is captured by the bandaged man. The situation tightens as the campers realize the danger is closer than they thought. The island’s lethal inhabitants reveal themselves step by step.

Soldier goes off to locate Be Be and stumbles upon the killer’s lair. He is killed using the killer’s own knife, a stark demonstration of the family’s deadly reach. The campers' nightmare grows closer to home.

Blowie heads off alone in search of a phone he and Pervert had lost earlier. The killer proves elusive and relentless, catching up with him and ending his attempt to stay connected with the outside world. The loss tightens the survivors’ resolve to fight back.

The killer returns home and decapitates Be Be after she rejects his son’s advances. The brutal act underscores the family’s merciless control over the island and its victims. The survivors realize that resistance may come at a steep price.

A fight breaks out among the remaining campers and Winnie and Linda are captured, fragmenting the group further. The campers struggle to stay coordinated while the killer and his family close in. The island becomes a trap for those who remain.

Professor and Ken locate the killer’s home by following the oblivious son and rescue the two girls, taking the son hostage to limit the killer’s leverage. The rescuers coordinate a plan to break out the rest of the group. The tide of the battle finally seems to be turning.

As they attempt to escape, Professor triggers the reset punji sticks, killing both him and the killer’s son. The death of the professor removes a key figure from the resistance. The survivors must press on without their mentor.

Ken and Winnie lure the killer into a trap, swinging him into tent spikes embedded in a tree. The killer’s wife then appears and slices Linda’s neck with the dropped chainsaw. The confrontation reaches its brutal apex as Linda dies and the killer’s attack continues.

With the deranged family seemingly dead, Ken and Winnie return to their campsite just as their boat arrives to take them away. As they board, the wife’s hand shoots out of the water and grabs the side of the boat, signaling that the danger may not be over. The final moment leaves a chilling reminder that some horrors linger beyond the island.
