In Jaalkot, Thakur Ajgar Singh Kiran Kumar rules with an iron fist. Inspector Jagdish Chandar Dalip Tahil strongly opposes his cruelty, while Jagdish lives with his motherless children, Avinash Chandar Jeetendra and Birju Chandar Sanjay Dutt.
That night, the hired killers strike—Jagdish is slain and Birju is abducted—while Avinash is taken in by a police commissioner. Lawrence Goga Kapoor and Peter Tej Sapru carry out Ajgar’s plan, setting the brothers on a collision course as Avinash’s fate takes a sharp, sorrowful turn.
Years pass, and Avinash grows into a steadfast police officer, building a happy life with his wife Sudha Chandar Jaya Prada and their daughter Bubbly. Meanwhile, Birju has slipped into a criminal life under Lawrence and Peter, who push him into a spiral of crime to fund their motives. They assign him a final task—stealing a precious jewel—immediately after his release from prison.
Chanda Madhuri Dixit—a victim of Ajgar—seeks Birju’s help to topple the tyrant. Birju agrees and pulls Chanda into the theft, but she is soon apprehended. Through Chanda, Avinash learns about Ajgar’s past and recalls what happened years ago, prompting him to transfer back to Jaalkot.
On the train, Lawrence and Peter betray Birju, yet he narrowly escapes with the jewel. Avinash and Birju cross paths aboard a carriage in a tense confrontation; Avinash, recognizing Birju by a tattoo, is pulled from the train and presumed dead. Birju arrives in Jaalkot, where the town greets him as Avinash, stirring confusion and a sense of destiny.
Despite initial recklessness and Ajgar’s lingering influence, Birju begins to see the tyrant’s true brutality and starts to resist. A mysterious man in a veil repeatedly shields him from danger, adding a layer of mystique to the quest for justice.
Chanda watches Birju’s transformation and grows closer to him. Sudha arrives in the village with Bubbly, hinting at a dramatic reveal, but Birju handles the situation deftly. He soon realizes that Avinash is his brother, solving a painful chapter of their shared past on the train.
With renewed purpose, Birju turns Sunny Sharat Saxena and Mangal Mahesh Anand, Ajgar’s henchmen, into allies who can testify against the tyrant. Though Sunny and Mangal are slain, Birju presses on, gathering evidence that could topple Ajgar’s hold on Jaalkot.
Sudha, outraged by the train incident, vows to kill Birju, but the mysterious man in the veil intervenes. The veil is removed to reveal Avinash, who survived the fall and has returned to stand beside his brother. United at last, the brothers join forces to seek revenge on those who wronged them and to bring Ajgar’s tyranny to an end.
