Thanedaar

The film opens in Jaalkot as Thakur Ajgar Singh rules with cruelty. Inspector Jagdish Chandar openly opposes him and tries to shield the vulnerable. Jagdish lives with his two motherless children, Avinash and Brijesh (Birju), who are drawn into the conflict.

Ajgar engineers Jagdishs assassination by two professional killers, Lawrence and Peter. They murder Jagdish that night and abduct Briju, while Avinash is taken in by a police commissioner who separates the family.

Years pass and Avinash grows into a stout-hearted police officer, enjoying a simple life with his wife Sudha and daughter Bubbly. Meanwhile, Birju becomes a career criminal under the sway of Lawrence and Peter, who push him to commit robberies to survive. After his prison release, Birju is given a final, dangerous task: steal a jewel.

Chanda, a victim of Ajgar, seeks Birju's help to bring down the tyrant. Birju agrees and conscripts Chanda into the plan, but she is quickly apprehended before she can act.

Through Chanda's account, Avinash learns about Ajgar's tyranny and recalls the past. He requests a transfer and is soon moved to Jaalkot to confront the threat firsthand.

Lawrence and Peter double-cross Briju, but he evades them and escapes with the jewel. He becomes a hunted man, moving to stay one step ahead while preserving the treasure.

On a train, Avinash confronts Birju as a fellow passenger; a fierce brawl erupts and Avinash recognizes the tattoo that proves Birju is his brother. The struggle ends with Avinash falling from the train and being presumed dead.

Birju arrives in Jaalkot and is welcomed as Avinash by the townsfolk, even though he is initially reckless and under Ajgar's influence. A mysterious person cloaked in a veil shields him, hinting at a hidden ally guiding him.

Chanda witnesses Birju's transformation and falls in love with the reforming man he is becoming, supporting his stand against Ajgar.

Sudha returns to the village with Bubbly, triggering a potential reveal, but Briju manages the situation and the truth about Avinash's fate edges closer.

Avinash begins to convert Ajgar's henchmen Sunny and Mangal into informants, using reform to dismantle the tyrant's grip. The two men are eventually slaughtered, intensifying the drive for justice.

Sudha learns of the train incident and, furious, seeks to kill Birju, but the man in the veil stops her; she discovers that the protector is Avinash.

The veil bearer is revealed to be Avinash, who survived the fall, and the brothers join forces to exact revenge on those who wronged them.
