Two years after the first movie, Stuart Little faces challenges that lead him to question his self-worth. A difficult soccer match leaves him feeling inadequate, especially after receiving a harsh kick from his friend George.

Stuart accidentally destroys George's toy airplane, further amplifying his feelings of inadequacy. This incident is pivotal in shaping Stuart's emotional turmoil, as he grapples with self-doubt.

In a moment of nurturing, Stuart's father reminds him of the 'silver lining' that exists for every Little. This support helps Stuart begin to see beyond his misfortunes and encourages him to be resilient.

While returning home from school, Stuart meets Margalo, a beautiful canary who is being chased by a menacing peregrine falcon. Their encounter sparks a connection, although Margalo harbors secret motives.

Margalo finds herself torn between her feelings for Stuart and her forced collaboration with the falcon. Under immense pressure, she ultimately steals Mrs. Little's diamond ring, deepening her internal struggle.

The Little family notices Mrs. Little's diamond ring has gone missing and suspects it may have fallen down the sink. Stuart courageously volunteers to retrieve the ring, showcasing his determination to make things right.

As Stuart is being lowered down the drain to fetch the ring, the line snaps, leaving him in a precarious situation. Fortunately, Margalo comes to his rescue, but this act intensifies her feelings of guilt.

Feeling remorseful after rescuing Stuart, Margalo decides to flee, leaving Stuart confused and fearful she has been kidnapped. This misunderstanding propels Stuart on a mission to save her, alongside the family's cat, Snowbell.

To locate Falcon’s lair, Stuart and Snowbell enlist the help of Monty, the street-smart alley cat. Monty reveals that the falcon's hideout is in the abandoned Pishkin Building, prompting Stuart to devise a plan.

Stuart and Snowbell concoct a clever plan to reach the falcon’s lair using balloons. Upon reaching the top, Stuart discovers Margalo is indeed captive, forced to engage in crime for the falcon.

During his attempt to rescue Margalo, Stuart gets captured by the falcon and is thrown from a great height. However, luck is on his side as he lands safely in a nearby garbage truck.

While on a garbage scow, Stuart feels despondent and to blame for everything that's gone wrong. He unexpectedly discovers George's broken plane, reigniting his determination to save Margalo.

Utilizing his ingenuity, Stuart repairs George's toy airplane and prepares for another rescue attempt. Meanwhile, Margalo manages to escape Falcon's grasp thanks to Snowbell’s timely intervention.

Stuart and Falcon engage in a thrilling aerial battle over the park. Despite numerous attacks, Stuart remains resolute, using Mrs. Little's ring as a distraction to outsmart Falcon.

With the falcon thwarted, Stuart celebrates his victory with his family and Margalo, who returns the stolen ring. As Margalo prepares to leave for her migration, Stuart optimistically bids her farewell, hoping to reunite in spring.
