Rajavin Parvaiyile

Gowri returns to her village Thulasipatti to visit her paternal uncle Pannaiyar, a wealthy landlord. She encounters Raja, a poor farm laborer, and their first interaction leads to a humorous misunderstanding. Gowri begins to show interest in Raja despite social differences.

During a confrontation initiated by Gowri's aunt who sends goons to attack Raja, he successfully defends himself. This display of courage earns Gowri's respect and starts to change her perception of him. Raja's bravery highlights his integrity in the face of danger.

Gowri begins to develop a bond with Rasamma, Raja's mother, who works on Pannaiyar's farm. This friendship helps Gowri understand the hardships and sincerity of Raja's family, deepening her affection and empathy towards them.

At a village festival, Raja rescues Gowri's friend Shenbagam from goons, showing his protective nature. This act ignites Gowri's love for Raja but also highlights his emotional distance and reluctance to accept love due to past traumas.

Raja's background is revealed, including his friendship with Chandru and Shanthi. Chandru's heartbreak and subsequent suicide after Shanthi's forced marriage leave Raja cynical about love and cause him to push Gowri away.

Gowri visits Raja's house to return a book, accidentally causes minor burns on her legs, and confesses her love. Raja, overcome with guilt, finally accepts his feelings for her, leading to a moment of reconciliation.

Gowri's aunt opposes her relationship with Raja due to their social differences. Gowri plans to leave the village to meet her father, raising fears that she might be forced into an arranged marriage reminiscent of Shanthi's past.

Gowri rushes to Pannaiyar for support, and despite initial resistance from his wife, he takes her to Raja's house to intervene. Rasamma is hesitant but eventually accepts Gowri as Raja's partner.

Gowri's father Rajasekaran arrives, beats Rasamma, and humiliates Pannaiyar’s family, taunting them about their childlessness. He then burns Raja's hut, forcing Gowri to risk her life to save a photograph of Raja.

After witnessing Raja’s heroism in rescuing Gowri from the burning hut, Rajasekaran's attitude softens. He apologizes to his brother and accepts Gowri's love for Raja, acknowledging their genuine bond.

With all obstacles removed, Gowri and Raja finally unite, symbolizing love triumphing over social differences and past trauma. Their union marks the culmination of perseverance and mutual understanding.
