Why these movies
These films are curated because they transform a personal quirk into a universal story about the search for meaning. The specificity of the historical obsession is not just a gimmick; it's a lens through which we explore themes of passion, loneliness, belonging, and the human desire to find patterns in the chaos of time. They are compelling because they show how deeply a person can connect to a story that isn't their own, and how that connection can, in turn, define their own life in beautiful and unexpected ways. Perfect for when you want a story that feels both uniquely strange and deeply relatable.
