Rama Rao clashes with Rahul, the son of Parasuramaiah, during a tense moment in the city. The quarrel results in Rama Rao being late for his police exam interview and he fails to get selected. This defeat pushes him to pursue policing in an unofficial, off-the-record manner.

To honor his family legacy, Rama Rao wears a police uniform gifted by his lover Jamuna and begins performing police duties without official status. He intervenes in crime on the streets, blurring lines between vigilante action and law enforcement. His boldness marks the start of a dangerous double life.

During one such covert operation, Rama Rao stops a car filled with explosives. The vehicle explodes accidentally, underscoring the peril of his unsanctioned actions and triggering a formal investigation. The incident links him to the broader terrorist threat facing the city.

Parasuramaiah reviews CCTV footage and notices a police uniform labeled as Alexander, realizing someone is impersonating an officer. He orders Kiran Reddy to locate Rama Rao and bring him to the commissioner. The discovery ties Rama Rao’s unconventional work to Alexander’s case.

Rama Rao confesses to Parasuramaiah that he has been performing police duties in disguise. Parasuramaiah, however, insists on knowing the whereabouts of Alexander, who remains a central mystery. The exchange pushes the pursuit toward the truth behind the earlier tragedy.

Sitharam recounts a flashback of Alexander being killed by Rahul and his friends. They drug Alexander, trap him in a market, and trigger a deadly explosion. The memory reveals Rahul’s ruthlessness and motivates Rama Rao to act against him.

Hearing the awful flashback, Rama Rao resolves to stop Rahul’s evil plans. He prepares to confront Rahul, risking his own life to protect Hyderabad. This determination marks a turning point toward the climactic confrontation.

Rama Rao is attacked in the same manner as Alexander and is released into the middle of a function attended by the home minister, with Rahul controlling the bomb via a mobile phone. The scene heightens the stakes and showcases Rama Rao’s willingness to sacrifice for the city.

Sitharam manages to hit the phone away, disrupting the remote control. Rama Rao then uses a minister's car equipped with a signal jammer to counter the threat and regain control. The tense moment shifts the balance away from Rahul.

Rahul makes a final attempt to eliminate Rama Rao in front of the minister. Despite his injuries, Kiran shoots and kills Rahul, ending his immediate threat. The act provides closure to the central conflict and elevates Rama Rao’s survival as the city’s reluctant guardian.
