Krishna Prasad captured Naaganna, a notorious highway robber, to claim the bounty of 1000 gold coins. However, instead of handing him over permanently, Krishna secretly freed Naaganna and they shared the loot together. This was a calculated move, Krishna used the money to help the poor and marginalized in his community, earning widespread support from the people. His unorthodox methods combined personal profit with social welfare, establishing him as a reform-minded advocate who operated outside conventional justice.

The blind old man was a former servant of the Amaraveedu court and knew the location of the five keys that guarded the dynasty's treasure. While at a highway tavern, he unknowingly revealed the information about the keys to the crowd. This revelation reached Sathyam, a rival who coveted the treasure. Sathyam then tortured the blind man to extract more details, learning that Daanaala Dharmayya was in Kurnool before killing him to keep the secret contained.

Daanaala Dharmayya was killed by Sathyam, not by Pagadaala Subbayya as Radha was led to believe. After learning from the blind servant that Dharmayya was in Kurnool, Sathyam traveled there and murdered Dharmayya on the road to obtain information about the treasure keys. This murder set in motion the entire chain of revenge that defined the latter half of the story.

The tavern scene earlier establishes that Sathyam was actively seeking the key holders.

Radha arrived at her father's deathbed and witnessed him dying, but she was not present during the actual killing. Sathyam, who had committed the murder, had already fled the scene. Without witnessing the actual perpetrator, Radha was misinformed, likely through Sathyam's manipulation or general confusion, that Pagadaala Subbayya was responsible. This false belief drove Radha to vow revenge against Subbayya, a man who was actually innocent of her father's murder.

The five keys were split between the two guardians to protect the treasure from falling into British hands. Daanaala Dharmayya took his share to Kurnool, while Pagadaala Subbayya fled to Gadwal. Before dying, Subbayya revealed that he had given one of the keys to Komarayya, a retired constable in Kurnool. Additionally, Radha discovered that her own father had once worked for Komarayya, creating a connection that eventually led to the treasure's location.

After being captured and tortured alongside Krishna in the desert, Naaganna learned about the treasure from the dying son of Pagadaala Subbayya. Driven by greed, Naaganna decided to impersonate Subbayya, a strategy that proved useful when Krishna needed to recover from his injuries and escape from Sathyam's territory. The impersonation allowed them to move freely and eventually led to Naaganna being captured by Sathyam's gang, though Krishna later rescued him.

Krishna, Radha, and Naaganna journeyed toward the cave using the information gathered throughout their quest, particularly the clues about the five keys and Komarayya's connection. They faced fierce competition from rival robbers who also sought the treasure. After defeating these rivals in a violent battle, they reached the cave protected by five doors. Inside, they found five sacks of gold and wealth, the legendary treasure of the Amaraveedu dynasty that had been hidden since the aftermath of the Battle of Bobbili.

Naaganna's loyalty shifted several times based on circumstance and revenge. Initially caught and freed by Krishna, he became an ally. When Krishna later left him stranded in the desert as punishment for trying to steal loot, Naaganna swore revenge and teamed up with Bijili to capture and torture Krishna. After learning about the treasure from Subbayya's dying son, he impersonated Subbayya to help Krishna escape. Even after being captured by Sathyam's gang and rescued by Krishna, Naaganna remained loyal, recognizing that the shared quest for the treasure created stronger mutual interests than old grievances.

Naaganna's betrayal in the desert directly led to his temporary alliance with Bijili.

Sathyam sought the Amaraveedu treasure for his own enrichment. After learning about the treasure keys from the tortured blind servant, he systematically eliminated those who knew the information, including killing Daanaala Dharmayya on the road to Kurnool. Sathyam represented the greedy rival who sought to claim the fortune for selfish purposes, contrasting with Krishna's intent to use the treasure for helping the poor.

After the fierce battle with rival robbers and finally reaching the treasure cave, Krishna and Radha secured the five sacks of gold and wealth. They shared the treasure between themselves, using it to help the poor and restore justice in their community. This distribution fulfilled Krishna's original motivation as a reform-minded social advocate, the treasure was not kept for personal gain but distributed to benefit those in need.

Krishna fell in love with Radha after she vowed to avenge her father's murder. Seeing her determination and need for skills to pursue vengeance, Krishna took her on as his student and trained her as a sharpshooter. This training transformed Radha from a vengeful daughter into a capable fighter who could actively participate in the quest for the treasure and face the dangers ahead. The training also deepened their partnership and solidified their romantic relationship.
