Manasantha Nuvve

The opening shows Anu and Chanti as childhood friends in a small village in Araku Valley. Anu gifts Chanti a musical alarm clock as a token of their bond before they leave for Vizag. The clock becomes a keepsake that reminds him of their early friendship.

Anu moves to Vizag with her father’s transfer, leaving Chanti behind. The farewell marks the end of their carefree days together. Chanti keeps Anu’s alarm clock as a remembrance of their time in Araku Valley.

Chanti’s mother dies, leaving him an orphan. He starts selling breakfast to railway passengers to survive and make a living. This marks his early struggle and resilience.

A kind couple, Mohan Rao and Sudha, adopt him and rename him Venu. They raise him as their eldest child and he helps run their Audio/Video café. The new family provides stability and belonging he had lacked before.

Anu goes to Malaysia to study but remains haunted by memories of Chanti. She tells her cousin she still likes him and that she does not want to marry immediately. This shows her independence and enduring feelings.

Anu returns to India and writes about their childhood friendship as a serial titled Manasantha Nuvve. She visits the Swati magazine editor and reveals the story is hers, using the pen name Renu. The editor agrees to publish it, bringing their tale to a wider audience.

Venu’s sister becomes a big fan of the serial and keeps pushing Venu to find the girl behind it and bring her home. The story begins to influence the real world around them. This creates a bridge between the two families.

At a stage show, Renu reveals the love of his childhood and presents the story to the audience. She introduces herself to Venu as Renu, the writer, avoiding full disclosure of her true identity. The moment blends fiction and reality, deepening their connection.

Renu visits Venu’s home and becomes a good family friend, teasing and playing with Venu without revealing who she really is. Her presence adds warmth and closeness to the household. Venu enjoys the companionship she provides.

After reading the serial, Venu discovers that Renu is actually Anu. He expresses happiness and asks her to come somewhere for their surprise reunion, hinting at a future together. The revelation changes the dynamic between them.

Anu’s father disrupts their happiness by revealing Anu’s impending wedding to a minister’s son. He manipulates events to separate them and convinces Venu that he should forget Anu to protect his sister’s marriage. The manipulation casts a shadow over their plans.

On the day of the weddings, Anu learns that Venu knew Renu was Anu. Venu fights off the henchmen but is wounded and falls into a coma. He recovers after listening to the alarm Anu gave him in childhood, and the couple finally reunites with their families approving of their love.
