Raj is a happy and free-spirited Indian-American bachelor who lives with his mother, Dr. Malhotra, enjoying a carefree life until a trip back to his ancestral homeland in Mumbai for his cousin Nikki’s wedding pulls him into a family-driven web of expectations. In Mumbai, his overzealous uncle Rakesh pushes him toward marriage, while the uncle’s employee chaperones Raj on a string of setups and dates that he sabotages with a wry smile and a stubborn streak.
