Prem Salman Khan is a talented and cheerful singer who earns his livelihood by performing at weddings and functions with a small troupe. He lives with his married sister Neelu Kashmera Shah after their parents pass away, and he has formed a close bond with her husband Vinod Mohnish Behl. Prem is deeply in love with Nisha Raveena Tandon, and their wedding date is meant to be a shared celebration of two spirits destined for each other. Mona, who happens to be friends with Prem’s sister, suggests that Priya join Prem’s wedding troupe to handle videography for their events. Priya’s mother has already started arranging a match with Rahul Inder Kumar, a well-settled male from a good US-based family. Rahul is, in fact, the same wealthy man Nisha was supposed to marry earlier.
