Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission

In the past, Isaac Netero, the esteemed chairman of the Hunters Association, faces and triumphs over a formidable adversary known as Jed. This victory sets the stage for the events that unfold, revealing the consequences of their conflict on the future of the Hunter Association.

In the present, a mysterious group of cloaked figures infiltrates a prison, breaking out inmates to aid in their sinister plot. Their motives remain shrouded in secrecy, creating an ominous atmosphere.

Friends Gon and Killua take a well-deserved break from their adventures and join Kite for a visit to Heaven's Arena. Their camaraderie is evident as they support their ally Zushi in the upcoming Battle Olympia Tournament.

As preparations for the tournament unfold, Leorio unexpectedly gets ambushed by the cloaked assailants. This sudden attack disrupts the atmosphere of camaraderie and foreshadows the chaos to come.

Before the tournament begins, chaos erupts in Heaven's Arena as the cloaked intruders take control. Among them, Gaki takes the place of Zushi's initial challenger and defeats him easily, showcasing the strength of the attackers.

Amidst the turmoil, Rengoku injures herself, cursing Netero and impeding his ability to use his Nen. This act highlights the desperation and rage fueling the intruders' actions against the Hunters Association.

Netero recognizes the ringleader of the cloaked figures as Jed, a former friend and head of the Shadow unit. This revelation brings to light the darker past of the Hunter Association and the consequences of its actions.

Jed reveals his objective: to force the Hunter Association to publish the 'Black Report', which details the injustices faced by his faction, the descendants of Shadow. This drives the narrative of revenge and justice for the oppressed.

Gon and Killua ascend the tower of Heaven's Arena only to confront Gaki, who poses a serious threat. Meanwhile, Kurapika engages in battle with another cloaked figure, Shura, showcasing the escalating conflict.

In a climactic battle, Gon and Killua defeat Gaki, but he chooses to self-destruct as a final act of vengeance. This underscores the high stakes and deadly consequences of their clash with the shadowy figures.

After a fierce encounter, Kurapika manages to subdue Shura but is cursed with Jed's blood, sealing his Nen. This ignites a tense race against time as the characters seek to break the curse before it's too late.

Regrouping after the chaos, Gon and Killua prepare to confront Jed on the rooftop, while Leorio cares for Kurapika. Their determination signifies the fight for their friends and the stability of the Arena.

During the confrontation, Gon gets infected by Jed's blood, forcing him to embrace On to continue fighting. This adds a layer of urgency and tension as he battles both external and internal conflicts.

The climax of the story unfolds as Gon purifies the On within both himself and Jed, providing him peace in death. With the defeat of Jed and his followers, order returns to Heaven's Arena, allowing the much-anticipated Battle Olympia Tournament to commence.
