Grizzly II: Revenge (1983)

In the expansive wilderness of Yellowstone National Park, majestic grizzly bears can be seen roaming freely. Their existence is intertwined with that of adventurous hikers and campers who explore this natural jewel, adding to the park's allure.

Chief Ranger Nick Hollister leads a dedicated team of rangers as they prepare for a grand rock concert in Grover Meadows. Anticipation builds as they expect around 50,000 attendees to flock to the park for this three-day event.

The tranquility of the park is shattered when Harvey, a malicious poacher, kills a bear cub and injures its mother. This disturbing act sparks a chain of events that leads to a deadly confrontation, ultimately resulting in Harvey's tragic demise.

Following the horrific poaching incident, Nick and Head Park Ranger Pete report their findings to Eileene Draygon, the Superintendent of Summit. They express growing concerns about safety and urge her to reconsider the concert schedule, but she remains resolute in her decision.

At the ranger station, Samantha Owens, the Director of Bear Management, argues against the execution of the grizzly bear. She emphasizes a humane approach consisting of tranquilization and relocation, backed by expert grizzly specialist Karl Bouchard from Canada.

Three teenagers, Ron, Tina, and Lance, unknowingly enter a restricted area of the park. This ill-fated decision leads to a horrifying encounter with the grieving grizzly, culminating in a brutal attack that shatters their lives.

The following morning, rangers Nick, Pete, and Samantha stumble upon the horrific remains of the teenagers in the park. This gruesome discovery raises alarms, especially with the concert date fast approaching, intensifying their worries about safety.

Desperate to ensure public safety, Nick visits Draygon's office to share the brutal realities of the killings. Frustratingly, he is met with further dismissal, indicating the complexity of balancing human enjoyment with wildlife protection.

Tensions escalate in the woods when Pete encounters a group of poachers, leading to a violent confrontation. He is left incapacitated, making the park even more vulnerable to further tragedy at the hands of both the poachers and the grizzly bear.

The situation worsens when the grizzly, now fully unleashed, discovers Pete and fatally attacks him while concealed in a cave. This incident heightens the sense of dread among the rangers and intensifies their urgency to take action.

Amidst the growing chaos, Charlie, the concert manager, races to finalize the preparations for the much-anticipated event. With the concert drawing near, the atmosphere is electric, but underlying dangers continue to mount.
