As the sun sets, Bobby Carter’s (voiced-over) tortured reflections intertwine with his open dialogue with his psychiatrist. The remnants of eight years of trauma weigh heavily on him. Yet, amid the despair, a flicker of hope ignites: Bobby and Rachel (formerly Ruby), now the proud owners of a biker team, have crafted a revolutionary super fuel that promises to power their motorcycles across the perilous desert expanses. However, the looming race, set in the same desolate terrain where the original massacre took place, escalates Bobby’s anxiety. Although his psychiatrist encourages him to join, he ultimately opts out, leaving Rachel to take his place at the helm of their team, which includes the likes of Cass (who is blind), her boyfriend Roy, and others such as Harry, Hulk, Foster, Jane, and Sue.
Their journey begins as they travel by bus, coincidentally picking up Beast from a nearby animal shelter, a heartwarming reunion for Rachel. The unforgiving desert landscape sprawls in front of them, but soon they lose their way. Harry suggests a shortcut through a hazardous bombing range, but this decision comes with dire consequences. When fuel starts pouring out of their vehicle, they pull over at an abandoned mining ranch, where the creaking wooden floorboards amplify their every move. Inside, the mine’s twisting corridors bring an unexpected encounter—Pluto, a seemingly reanimated creature, launches an attack on Rachel, forcing her to fend for herself and retreat.
Initially met with skepticism regarding her claims, the group’s doubts vanish as they face a more significant threat: Pluto steals one of their bikes. Roy and Harry spring into action, but alas, Harry finds himself ensnared in a trap, crushed under a massive boulder, while Roy manages to catch Pluto only to be confronted by the Reaper—a towering cannibal with an unquenchable thirst for blood, whose true identity reveals a chilling twist: he is the elder brother of Papa Jupiter.
Back at the mine, the remaining members of the group grow increasingly anxious about the fate of Roy and Harry. Rachel and Hulk resolve to search for their friends, venturing out despite the growing dread of the Reaper stalking them, his presence lurking ominously. In a desperate attempt to escape on a motorcycle, they are struck by tragedy when the Reaper hurls a spear, fatally wounding Hulk, compelling Rachel to flee in sheer terror.
The Reaper brings his wrath back to the abandoned mine, exacting a gruesome punishment on Foster. In a harrowing scene, Jane uncovers Foster’s lifeless body only to fall victim to the Reaper’s ghoulish intentions moments later. Sue, in her frantic return to their camp, faces a brutal fate as the Reaper mercilessly throws her through a window and executes her with a machete.
Rachel’s struggle for survival intensifies when she confronts Pluto, who pins her down with malicious intentions. In a twist, Beast intervenes, driving Pluto away. However, Rachel’s urgent pursuit of Beast leads her into a trap set by the Reaper, involving Hulk’s lifeless body hurled towards her. In a heart-wrenching moment, Rachel stumbles and suffers a head injury, ultimately falling to her fatal wounds.
As chaos consumes the group, Roy awakens to find Pluto waiting above him on a perilous cliff. Thanks to Beast’s valiant intervention, Pluto tumbles to his doom. Meanwhile, Cass escapes the Reaper’s relentless pursuit, only to find herself amidst the haunting sight of her friends’ dead bodies in an abandoned mineshaft. In a moment of defiance, she throws a vial of acid, blinding the Reaper temporarily, before making her escape with Roy’s help.
Despite his earlier setbacks, the Reaper remains relentless, chasing them until he is trapped and set ablaze in a bus filled with highly combustible bike fuel. As flames consume him, Roy and Cass watch in horror. However, the Reaper’s fiery demise is not the end; he emerges once more, engulfed in flames, only to stumble into an open mineshaft, meeting his ultimate fate.
As the dust settles in the aftermath of terror, Roy, Cass, and Beast begin their arduous trek back home, stepping away from the mine as the sun rises, disappearing into the vast desert landscape.
