Khalujan and Babban execute a cunning plan to impersonate a Nawab and his attendant in order to escape with a valuable necklace from a jewelry store. Their scheme shows their resourcefulness but sets off a chain of events that leads to unexpected chaos.

During their escape, the duo finds themselves in a frantic police chase. In the turmoil, they lose sight of each other, and Khalujan sustains injuries while managing to mislead the authorities.

In a desperate move to cover his own tracks, Khalujan pretends to drop the precious necklace as he and Babban part ways. This deceit leaves Babban under the impression that his uncle has either been captured or killed, intensifying the drama between them.

Months later, Babban re-emerges in a new persona as Iftikar Hussain, the Nawab of Chandipur. He attends a prestigious poetry contest, the Mushaira, which holds the promise of love and ambition.

The Mushaira, organized by the beautiful Begum Para, is not just about poetry; it represents a chance to win her hand in marriage and the title of Nawab of Majidabad. Babban's longing for recognition amplifies the stakes.

During the event, Babban finally reunites with Khalujan, who reveals that he has lost the necklace. This reunion rekindles their complex relationship as both have individual aspirations at play.

Amidst the competitive atmosphere, Babban becomes infatuated with Muniya, the charming assistant of Begum Para. Khalujan, meanwhile, sets his sights on marrying the Begum for her wealth, complicating their objectives.

Local MLA-gangster Jaan Mohammed enters the fray, pretending to be a poet while manipulating a captive poet, Nawab Italwi, to further his plans. He views Khalujan as a rival and an obstacle to his ambitions.

As the plot thickens, Jaan Mohammed reveals plans to kidnap Begum Para. Muniya is uncovered as a participant when she is caught negotiating a deal with a kidnapper, demonstrating her double-crossing intentions.

Khalujan grapples with his feelings for the Begum, deciding against violent confrontations as he confides his emotions to her. However, Para perceives his declarations as jokes, not recognizing his sincere intentions.

As the competition reaches its climax, Khalujan attempts to return the stolen necklace but faces heartbreak. The Begum chooses to accept Jaan Mohammed's proposal, crushing Khalujan's hopes.

A rendezvous at the railway station for a ransom exchange goes awry when Babban and Khalujan discover the bag is empty. They find themselves in a precarious position, surrounded by Jaan's henchmen, escalating their predicament.

In a dramatic turn, Nawab Italwi and law enforcement storm the scene, inciting a chaotic shootout. Amid the turmoil, Muniya and the Begum escape, leaving Khalujan and Babban to face arrest and uncertainty.
