Read the complete plot breakdown of Qurbani (1980), including all key story events, major twists, and the ending explained in detail. Discover what really happened—and what it all means.

Former circus motorcycle stuntman Rajesh has become a skilled thief who specializes in cracking safes. During a daring robbery, he is spotted by Police Inspector Amjad Khan, and the ensuing events land him a two-year prison sentence. At the same time, a glamorous disco club dancer and singer, Sheela, falls for him, even though Rajesh keeps his criminal life a secret from her.

Behind bars, Rajesh forms an uneasy alliance with Vikram, who, with his sister Jwaala Singh, seeks vengeance against the cruel crime lord Rakka who betrayed Jwaala and siphoned her money.

Meanwhile, Amar, a criminal in Rakka’s gang who is a widower with a daughter Tina, begins to turn against his boss. Before quitting, he has carried out a masked crime that is being investigated by the police.

Upon his release, Rajesh reconnects with Vikram and is drawn back into the plan to rob Rakka. Amar arrives, and the two men form a fragile alliance: Amar will steal the gold and jewelry, phone the police to let Rajesh take the blame and get arrested, and after a prison term they’ll meet in London.

Things go awry as Rajesh is arrested for killing Rakka, while Amar and Sheela arrive in London with the stolen money. Rajesh suspects Amar has betrayed him in a bid to keep the fortune—and Sheela—for himself. He escapes from prison and travels to London to confront Amar, while Vikram’s goons close in from across the ocean.

In the tense final act, Vikram’s pursuit accelerates toward a deadly confrontation in the new city. As the danger intensifies, Amar makes a selfless choice to shield Rajesh, Sheela, and Tina from a fatal encounter with Vikram. The climax folds sacrifice, loyalty, and hard-won trust into a resolution that tests every bond formed along the way.
