The narrative unfolds in ten captivating vignettes, each exploring the intricate web of human relationships in unique ways. We first meet Pooja, the devoted wife of Rahul Sarin, a high-powered executive oblivious to her wife’s emotional struggles. Pooja’s extramarital affair with Aditya Singh, an army officer she met online, becomes a pathway for her to experience love and companionship beyond the confines of her marriage. As their secret encounters deepen, she finds herself caught between her loyalty to Rahul and her growing bond with Aditya.

In a surprising twist, Aditya gifts Pooja a stunning diamond necklace, which she hesitates to accept but eventually plots to acquire without arousing suspicion. However, her clever plan backfires when Rahul unknowingly claims the necklace at a local jewelry store, only to retrieve a small diamond ring instead. Panic grips Pooja as she faces the truth of her infidelity, realizing that she is being “hoisted with her own petard.”

The focus shifts to Kaamna and Kabir, two spirited young lovers eager for adventure and self-exploration. Their idyllic days take a dark turn when a gang of thugs ambushes them while they stroll along a deserted highway. Despite Kabir’s brave efforts to shield Kaamna, he is unable to prevent her abduction. In the aftermath, while Kaamna finds refuge with the police, Kabir’s overwhelming guilt propels him towards a heart-wrenching decision that will forever haunt their families.

As the story weaves on, we encounter Mala, whose life takes a poignant twist when her daughter Mini drapes a vibrant dupatta over her, highlighting their striking resemblance. On a full moon night, Mala is stirred by memories of a promise made by her long-lost lover: to wait for her at the doorstep each lunar cycle. Embracing the moment, she ventures into the night, seeking to rekindle long-suppressed passions. However, the next morning, she returns home only to be mistaken by the villagers for her daughter Mini, leading to a cascade of rumors that tarnish her reputation. Ultimately, Mini, crushed by the gossip and unable to confront the situation without harming her mother, takes a tragic leap into a well, eclipsing their family in heartbreak and despair.
