Dee Twiddle and Dawn St. Dom meet during their first flight lesson and instantly bond over shared dreams and quirky personalities. They discover they have many similarities, from ambition to a taste for mischief, which sets the tone for their partnership.

Realizing neither of them is the instructor, they panic mid-flight when the controls become overwhelming. The training plane crashes onto a golf course, but both survive with no injuries, setting the stage for their unlikely friendship.

The accident sparks a deep friendship as they quickly become best friends. They also discover that they have been their next-door neighbors for nearly a year, adding a humorous twist to their bond.

Dee uses her showbiz know-how to help Dawn land a dancing gig at the Beaver Patch Lounge, giving Dawn her first real break. The duo starts to build a plan around performing together and pursuing bigger dreams.

The Vancouver Italian Mafia targets Lou Rimoli, a former mobster turned informant who runs the Beaver Patch Lounge, and orders two female assassins, Cat and Kit, to take him out. Rimoli is protected by two agents, and the mob's plan quickly escalates into a deadly problem for everyone nearby.

Cat and Kit carry out the hit on Rimoli just before Dee and Dawn's audition, and the two assassins are mistaken for the blondes as they flee the scene. The mistaken identities set off a chain of cover stories and extra danger for the fledgling entertainers.

Leo and Swan, tasked with monitoring the situation, mistake Dee and Dawn for Cat and Kit and approach them with a dangerous gig: to kill Hang Wong. The sisters initially misunderstand the assignment as a date, reflecting the chaotic nature of the criminal underworld.

Dee and Dawn accept the $250,000 job, thinking they are being hired for a date. Federal agents intercept the setup and begin following them as they travel toward Hang Wong's operations in Niagara Falls.

The blondes arrive at Niagara Falls and settle in a casino hotel owned by Hang Wong. Cat and Kit arrive too, realizing their reputations have been hijacked, and the two groups prepare to contend for control and revenge.

Dee crosses paths with Hang Wong in a casino meeting with Leo and Swan, and admits that she and Dawn were hired to 'show him a good time.' Wong plays along, while federal agents close in on the trio. The encounter raises the stakes for everyone involved.

Wong decides to kidnap Dee and takes her aboard his yacht, using her as leverage in the game. Dawn, Cat, Kit, and the federal agents pursue them across the water in a tense, high-stakes chase.

The authorities close in, and Cat, Kit, and Wong are arrested while Dee and Dawn share a kiss, having survived the chaotic pursuit. The chase reveals that the mysterious ‘dream man’ may have joined them in the boat scene.

With the winnings and their fearless partnership, Dee and Dawn establish Dee and Dawn's Famous Turtle Sanctuary in the countryside. They start with a single turtle but promise to grow the sanctuary as their new dream takes shape.
