In the late 16th century, Lee Mong-hak partners with the legendary blind swordsman Hwang Jeong-hak and the rebel Gyeon-ja to challenge the corruption festering at the court. They share a vision of a freer, fairer Joseon and the repulsion of the invading forces, forming a growing rebel force that seeks to reform the ruling system.
