In 60 BC, arch‑druid Guttuart sees a comet, interpreting it as a sign of a new king for Gaul. He travels to Gergovia, the Arverni capital, for a tribal council. Young Vercingetorix and his friend Eponia sneak into the cavern where father Celtill plans to claim a crown.
