Vishwanathan Pillai, Jayaram, is an innocent young man living in Alappuzha, tucked into a quiet routine with his parents and his younger sister. He takes a brief recess before a job interview, hoping for a chance to prove himself, when fate twists into a dangerous case of mistaken identity. In the eyes of the town, he is suddenly mistaken for Uthaman, a notorious criminal whose deeds are whispered about and whose presence seems to haunt every street corner. The arrest comes as a shock, and the situation grows more tangled when the local police swiftly detain him. Yet the crisis is averted thanks to the timely intervention of the police inspector, Mukesh, who recognizes a familiar face and understands the mix-up all too well.
