Les Hackel, an office worker, reveals to his best friend Danny that they both have bombs implanted in their necks. This shocking revelation sets off a series of deadly events.

At Danny's house, he confronts Les with a gun but hesitates to pull the trigger. Unfortunately, this hesitation triggers the bomb in Danny's neck, resulting in a fatal explosion.

Following instructions from a mysterious text, Les opens a suitcase at work that releases toxic gas. The gas engulfs the entire office, killing everyone inside while Les manages to escape unharmed.

Les arrives at the nightclub Diamonds and Purrls, where he encounters Sal Cheek, a failed comedian with a bomb in his neck. They bond over their unfortunate situations, creating a grim partnership.

Les and Sal are ordered to eliminate a family residing in a suburban home. After complying with the sinister task, they receive a new message instructing them to turn on each other.

In a fight for survival, Les decapitates Sal with a shovel after receiving the order to kill him. This brutal act highlights the desperation and chaos engulfing Les's life.

Les is taken to a police station where Chief Richter demands a confession. Unable to answer, Les is subjected to torture using a device known as 'The Confessional' to extract information.

After an ordeal in The Confessional, Les wakes up on the side of the road, holding a cryptic piece of paper that simply says 'think'. This disturbance leaves him questioning his reality.

Les meets Clive, an abrasive Australian, and they are instructed to rob a convenience store. During the heist, Clive betrays Les, knocking him unconscious and stealing the money.

Les and Chelsea, a young woman he meets after she is assaulted, manage to flee from danger. They develop a bond, both grappling with their traumatic experiences.

Les stumbles upon a secretive facility where alien-human hybrids are being created. Horrified, he decides to destroy the alien eggs but faces dire consequences as one hatches.

At LA LA Joyland, an abandoned amusement park, Les faces Clive once again. In a tense struggle, Les kills Clive, showcasing his survival instincts against overwhelming odds.

Returning home, Les discovers his mother hiding alien-human hybrid infants in the garage. In a fit of rage and despair, he kills her and sets the garage ablaze.

After being apprehended again, Les experiences a flashback revealing his past crime of killing a biker in a drunken accident. With this confession, he is released by Chief Richter.

In a bittersweet ending, Chelsea finds Les after surviving her own horrors. They share a moment of intimacy as Richter suggests revealing the truth about the biker's family.
