Mantra Charmy Kaur moves to Hyderabad after landing a job in a software company. She has lost her parents years ago and spent most of her life in hostels, building a quiet routine around her studies and work. On arrival, a taxi driver—acting as an assistant from her employer—suggests she stay as a paying guest at an elderly couple’s home in the city. The older couple, Ramarao Rallapalli Narasimha and his wife, welcome her with warmth, and she slowly begins to settle into her new life.
As she starts her job and follows her daily routine, she begins to feel watched, as if someone is following her with the intent to kill. The uneasy sense deepens when a police team arrives and accuses her of being the culprit in a scandal. It soon becomes clear that this confrontation is a prank gone too far, orchestrated by her ex-classmate Vijay Vijay Sai, who is now a police officer posted in Hyderabad. The prank unsettles Mantra, but it also rekindles a surprising bond between them, and their friendship grows into something closer. Vijay introduces Mantra to his family with the intent of marriage, and she confides in him about the persistent threats she’s been facing.
Vijay, moved to help her, agrees to follow up on her situation and is horrified to learn that Mantra has been living in a home entwined in a murder investigation. He, along with a small press contingent and Mantra, returns to the residence to uncover the truth. Upon entering, they are confronted with the stark state of the house and the unsettling sense that someone or something is watching. Vijay unfurls a file that contains photographs of the elderly couple and the driver who approached her at the railway station, hinting at a past she may not fully understand. Mantra proves her legitimacy by showing her luggage and documents in her room, but the evidence only deepens the mystery: the house appears haunted, and the doors seem to seal themselves from the inside.
The ghostly presence wastes no time, and one by one the visitors fall victim to the danger lurking within. A spine-tingling moment reveals that one of the deaths occurred not from force alone but from sheer shock at seeing a photograph of Mantra. As the terror crescendos, a letter from the spirit reveals a shocking truth: Mantra is, in fact, the daughter of the elderly couple, and she is part of a complicated twin story. The tale recounts how Anjali, the other daughter, was born alongside Mantra; Anjali dies in an accident caused by Ramarao’s brother. During the mourning, Ramarao discovers there is another daughter and invites her to live with them as their own, hoping to enlarge the family and share their wealth. Ramarao’s younger brother, driven by greed or malice, murders Ramarao and his wife. Unaware of this dark history, Mantra has continued to live in the same home, making her an easy target for Ramarao’s brother.
Just before Vijay and Mantra can leave, the brother steps out and reveals his killing plan. In a final, haunting twist, Ramarao’s soul possesses Mantra and exacts vengeance on his brother. With the danger finally confronted and the truth laid bare, Vijay and Mantra embrace as they step out of the house together, their bond reinforced by the ordeal.
