Inside, she discovers Madison’s cherished trinket, amplifying her sense of dread as she confronts Norman.

Norman’s confession reveals the chilling truth: he had stumbled upon Madison’s lifeless body in her car and, in panic, disposed of it in the lake to hide the reality of their illicit affair. Claire’s world crumbles as she learns that Norman murdered Madison after she threatened to expose him.

In a chilling twist of fate, Norman attempts to stage Claire’s suicide by submerging her in water, intent on removing Madison’s necklace from around her neck.
